Recently many stars have left the serial ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ show. Most of the stars cited the name of the show’s maker Asit Modi as the reason for leaving the show midway. Many stars also accused of harassment.
Some time ago, Palak Sidhwani, who played the character of Sonu, had also left the show. The makers were also accused of psychological exploitation. Now Asit Modi spoke openly on these allegations. During the conversation, he said something that within a few minutes the statement went viral.
Asit Modi’s big revelation
While talking to the media, Asit Modi hinted at Palak Sidhwani leaving the show and said that this is all nonsense and Asit said that everyone should work in discipline. I am also making a show for SAB TV. I want to work with respect. I have a contract with them. 26 episodes will have to be delivered in a month. Therefore everyone has to remain disciplined. It will not depend on your mood. Everyone is working. This is also a reason.
Actors are recognized by the names of their characters
Asit Modi further said that ‘People know you by your character. Be it eyelid or anyone else. Abdul’s real name is Sharad. But people know him as Abdul Bhai. That means actors are known only by the names of their characters. All our characters are positive. If someone goes out and says something, it tarnishes the image of the show. Everyone works under a contract. There is a limit to my work also. You cannot break the contract. Asit Modi taunted Palak and said, ‘I feel bad when he says anything. But what is his age? What insights do they have? There is no truth in this matter.
