Jennifer Mistry wins sexual harassment case against Asit Modi: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Mrs. Sodhi fame actress Jennifer Mistry has won the sexual harassment case against the show's producer Asit Kumar Modi. Confirming the matter on Tuesday, the actress said that on February 15, the court had given its verdict and ordered Modi to pay the dues. Apart from this, the court has also asked Modi to pay a compensation of Rs 5 lakh to Jennifer.

In the judgment, the court said that Asit Modi should pay the actress the dues as well as additional compensation as a penalty for willful non-payment of rupees and harassment. Five lakh extra will have to be paid. In total, Modi will have to pay around Rs 25 to 30 lakhs to Jennifer. Jennifer said that the decision was given on February 15 itself but she was requested not to share the matter with the media.
However, the former Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress also revealed that she has not received her amount yet. Jennifer was also disappointed that the show's project head Sohail Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj were not punished.

Jennifer said that the decision made it clear that her case had not been lost and that she did not want to gain any publicity by doing so. Jennifer said that she regrets that even though she has confessed to the harassment, she has not yet got full justice.
