Kartikeya Temple in Sambhal: The issue of building a temple in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh has become heated. At that time, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) had done carbon dating of the temple here, ALI had secretly done carbon dating of the ancient Kartikeya temple of Sambhal. A four-member expert team was deployed for this process. The Archaeological Survey of India also inspected five pilgrimage sites and 19 ancient wells.

According to reports, the ALI team also made a thorough study of the condition of 19 ancient wells and historical sites present in the Sambhal region. Sambhal is known for its ancient religious and cultural importance.

Sambhal District Magistrate Rajendra Pensia said, ‘The survey of the temple has been completed safely. Carbon dating of the ancient Kartikeya temple of Sambhal was secretly done by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). The process was kept away from media coverage due to security reasons. The four-member ALI team instructed the administration to keep the investigation confidential.

The temple was closed for 46 years

After the violence in Sambhal, a search operation was conducted to find stray elements. Then the matter of electricity theft came to light. On December 14, during investigation in Deepa Rai area, the police suddenly found a temple. Which is said to be of the year 1978. This temple was closed for 46 years. Which was 200 meters away from the SP MP’s house. The temple was opened on 15 December and worship was performed there. Then the well was discovered and excavated. Meanwhile, a temple was also found in Sarayatrin, another area of ​​Sambhal.
