Raipur, 10 October (HS). As per the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, the Panchayat and Rural Development Department of Chhattisgarh Government on Thursday has issued an order to provide the benefit of time scale salary to 421 engineers in recognition of their long-term service contribution. Under this order, 32 engineers who have completed 25 years of service, 388 engineers who have completed 10 years of service, and 01 engineer who have completed 08 years of service are included. These engineers include Deputy Engineer, Assistant Engineer, Executive Engineer and Superintending Engineer.
It is noteworthy that this matter was pending for the last 4-5 years and as a result of the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, now these engineers are getting the benefit of time scale salary. It may be noted that the engineers had met Deputy Chief Minister Sharma and apprised them of their problems. The Deputy Chief Minister had assured the engineers that their problems would be resolved immediately. As per the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma, the benefit of time scale salary has been given to the engineers who have been serving in the Panchayat and Rural Development Department for years and are making important contribution in the development of the state.
