Arvind Kejriwal arrest: Rouse Avenue Court sent CM Arvind Kejriwal on ED remand till March 28. Earlier both the parties had argued in the court. Advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, appearing on behalf of Kejriwal, opposed the arrest of Kejriwal. It also raised questions as to why the arrest was made when the ED has everything. On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party workers have come out on the streets across the country. It is noteworthy that ED had demanded to send Kejriwal on remand for 10 days. However, the court has approved the remand of Delhi CM till March 28.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday evening in the Delhi liquor scam case. Yesterday evening the ED team reached Arvind Kejriwal's house. ED arrested Kejriwal after about two hours of interrogation and searching his residence. Hearing of Kejriwal case is starting in PMLA court. Kejriwal's petition against the arrest was also to be heard before a special bench of the Supreme Court. But Kejriwal has withdrawn his application.

In the remand note of ED, AAP party has been described as a company. In the ED's remand note, Kejriwal has been described as the mastermind. ED has written that Kejriwal has an important role in making the excise policy. The money received as bribe was invested in Goa elections. ED claimed that money was taken from the South Lobby in collaboration with Vijay Nair and Manish Sisodia. C Arvind, who was the secretary of Manish Sisodia, said in his statement that in March 2021, Manish Sisodia called C Arvind to Kejriwal's house and gave him a 30-page GOM draft. Satendra Jain and Arvind Kejriwal were present there at that time.
