Hamirpur, 19 September (HS). On Thursday, ARTO enforcement conducted a campaign in Jarath area and took strict action against illegal vehicles and overloaded vehicles. Under this campaign, a JCB machine from Jakheri village of Rath Kotwali area, a school van from Muskara, and a luxury AC bus without permit and a illegal cruiser car were seized in front of Rath Kotwali. Apart from this, a total fine of about 4 lakh rupees was also collected from 5 trucks.
ARTO Enforcement Amitabh Rai said that as per the instructions of the government, action was taken against 5 overloaded trucks around Biwar. Out of these, one overloaded truck was seized and a fine of Rs 4 lakh was collected. Apart from a school van in Muskara and a JCB in Jakheri, a cruiser car running illegally in front of Rath Kotwali and a luxury AC bus without permit were also seized. ARTO Enforcement said that all the passengers in the bus were shifted to a Parivahan Roadways bus and arrangements have been made to take them to their destination. During this, ARM Rajesh Singh and other employees of Transport Corporation were also present. This action of ARTO Enforcement has created panic among illegal and illegal vehicle drivers.
