Art can play an important role in women empowerment: Dr. Sachchidanand Joshi

Jhansi, March 11 (Hindus). Vamika Second National Art Exhibition was inaugurated today at Artisan Art Gallery, New Delhi under the joint aegis of Kala Sopan and Institute of Fine Arts, Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the exhibition as the chief guest, Dr. Sachchidanand Joshi, Member Secretary, Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts, said that art can play a very important role in women empowerment.

Dr. Joshi said that various forms of women have been displayed in this art exhibition organized on the occasion of International Women's Day. This can be helpful for women to understand themselves and move forward.

Manish Kumar Shukla, member of Hindi Advisory Committee, Niti Aayog, who was the special guest of the inauguration ceremony, said that there is a great need to promote such activities. It will try to empower women in a functional manner as well as giving them topics to think about.

Special guest of the program Malvika Joshi said that we have to break the shackles and come out. Sometimes it may happen that in breaking the bond our wings may also get uprooted, but new wings will come and we will fly again. We should always keep trying.

Dr. Shweta Pandey, coordinator of the art exhibition, said that this year Vamika Second National Art Exhibition is being organized at Artisan Art Gallery, New Delhi in collaboration with Kala Sopan, an organization doing pioneering work in the field of art, Institute of Fine Arts, Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. . Along with students of Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, students from many states are participating in this art exhibition.

Gajendra Singh, co-coordinator of the exhibition, said that more than 60 art works of more than 40 artists are being displayed in this art exhibition. The theme of this exhibition has been women based. Shri Gajendra Singh said that the Institute of Fine Arts has been organizing exhibitions, artistic workshops and art tours every year to enhance the artistic activities of the students.

In this art exhibition, researchers Rekha Arya, Ragini Soni, Madhavi Nirala, Nandani Kushwaha, Raunak Sirothia, Siddharth Nagil, Pankaj Kumar, Arjun Ahirwar, Shashank, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Batham, Chanchal Kushwaha, Yash Verma, Jaideep Ashok, Yash Mahore, Sakshi And others were present.
