Jaipur, 12 May (HS). Traders called a meeting on Sunday to improve the derailed systems in Muhana Mandi. Other problems including those of the farmers coming here were discussed in the meeting. An action plan will be made by the traders to solve these problems quickly and bring the broken systems back on track. The meeting was called in Om Tanwar Vegetable Block.
Rahul Tavanr, President of Jaipur Fruit and Vegetable Wholesalers Association, said that there is chaos in the market for the last several months. The market administration should focus on the development of the market. Due to chaos in the market, the business of the market is getting affected. Thousands of farmers, laborers and common people come to Muhana Mandi every day. Summer season has arrived. Water coolers are lying broken in the market premises. Proper arrangements for drinking water should be made by opening closed water coolers. The incidents of theft and fraud are increasing day by day in the market premises. Keeping in view the security of the market, CCTV cameras should be installed at all places and the cameras which are switched off should be activated. New roads should be constructed in the market premises so that business can run smoothly. All the toilets built in the market premises should be repaired and maintained regularly. There should be proper arrangements to ensure that the traffic system in the market premises is not disrupted. The switched off lights in the market premises should be replaced.
