Durrani, an officer of the US Army, has become the center of attraction in the biggest Indo-US joint military exercise going on for the last 12 days at Asia's largest Mahajan Field Firing Range. My great grandfather and grandfather have served in the Punjab Regiment of India. The family belongs to Rampur in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. When she came to India for the US-India joint military exercise, she met her maternal uncle in Delhi. However, during the exercise, when American soldiers are seen talking to Indian army personnel in English in their free time, Durrani talks to Indian soldiers and officers in Hindi along with English. She told that at her home in America, she talks to her family members in Hindi.
