The search for the soldier has been going on since night, but he has not been found. The search for the soldier who drowned in the canal is continuing on Saturday as well.

According to the information received, Raghuveer Singh's 26-year-old son Manjeet Singh, a resident of Hansewala village, joined the army a few years ago under the sports quota. He was not married yet. He is posted in 338 Medium Battalion RT Jammu and Kashmir and on Thursday morning at 5 o'clock he took leave and reached his home in the village. It is being told that on Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock he went out for a walk with his friends. He has not returned since then. His friends also did not tell where he is. It is said that when the family started looking for him, they found Manjeet's slippers lying near the head, after which they came to know that he has been swept away in the canal.

There is silence in the entire village and the family and villagers are busy searching for the young man in the canal. A net has also been placed at Kajal Head further in the canal, but nothing has been found so far. He is still being searched in the canal on Saturday.
