Arms and ammunition recovered in Manipur

Imphal, 07 August (HS). Security forces have recovered arms and ammunition during a search operation in the border and sensitive areas of the hill and valley districts of Manipur.

Manipur Police this morning said that one INSAS LMG with three magazines, one INSAS rifle with two magazines, one AK-56 rifle with magazine, one 9mm pistol (indigenous) with magazine, one .32 pistol with magazine, 113 live ammunition and one “Baofeng” handheld set were recovered from Mayai Keithel and Irong villages in Thoubal district.
