To empower such youths, the government runs many schemes which you need to know about. Let us know how you can build your future using these schemes.

1. Prime Minister's Mudra Scheme
Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) was launched by the Modi government in 2015. This can promote self-employment. Under this scheme, collateral free loan up to Rs 10 lakh is provided. These loans are given for non-corporate and non-agricultural activities. If you want to start a new business and you do not have capital, then this scheme of the government can fulfill your money needs.

Loans are available in 3 categories
– Shishu Loan – It provides financial assistance up to Rs 50 thousand.
– Kishor Loan – In this, loan up to Rs 5 lakh is given.
-Tarun Loan- In which loan up to Rs 10 lakh is given.

2. Prime Minister Skill Development Scheme
This scheme also helps the youth to become self-reliant. Launched in July 2015, this scheme is also known as Pradhan Mantri Yuva Prashikshan Karyakram. Under this scheme, youth are made employable by providing free training in all fields. Training is provided free of cost. Financial assistance is also provided during the training days. After completing the training, a certificate is received, on the basis of which one can get a job in the private or government sector, or with the help of this certificate, the youth can also start their own work.

3. PM Swanidhi Scheme
Under the PM Swanidhi Yojana, the government provides loans up to Rs 50,000 to cashiers or traders. These loans are collateral free. This means that vendors do not need to mortgage anything to the bank. The Modi government launched the PM Swanidhi Yojana in the year 2020 to make the street vendors self-reliant, increase their employment and increase their income. Under this scheme, the loan is given in three installments. The amount has to be returned within 12 months. To start a business, a loan of up to Rs 10,000 can be applied for for the first time under this scheme. If the money is repaid on time, the vendors become eligible for a loan of up to double the amount i.e. Rs 20,000 and for the third time they can take a loan of up to Rs 50,000.
