Tea and Pakodas: Everyone likes to eat pakodas with hot tea during the rainy season. During the rainy season, whether people are at home or outside, they feel happy if they get onion patties and hot tea. While on one hand people enjoy the taste of pakodas, on the other hand they are not considered good from the health point of view.

Many people are afraid of eating tea and pakodas lest their weight increases. Along with this, many health experts also forbid people from eating pakodas with tea. But on the contrary, nutritionist and dietician Rujuta Diwekar advises people to eat tea and pakodas during monsoon. Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's dietician Rujuta says that eating pakodas in the rain is beneficial for health. Let's know why-

Rujuta Diwekar says that the rainy season is the best time to consume fried foods like pakodas. But, people are always told that they should eat low-fat food or low-calorie food. Rujuta says that this message is completely wrong because we should change our eating habits according to the season.

The rainy season is different from winter and summer and the needs of your body are also different in this season. You should eat a variety of foods in 12 months of the year and include variety in your daily diet as this is the only way to nourish your body and keep you in a good mood. According to the famous dietician, you can make pakodas as per your choice and recommend eating seasonal vegetables available in monsoon, potato pakodas, onion pakodas or celery pakodas.

Rujuta specifically emphasises that you should cook your food in the oil that is traditionally used in the region you live in. For example, people living in Kerala were advised to fry pakoras in coconut oil, while people living in western states like Gujarat-Maharashtra were advised to fry pakoras in peanut oil.
