boil in hot water
For this, boil water in a vessel and add two spoons of Desi in this boiling water and turn off the gas flame after two minutes. Cover this water and leave it for 24 hours. Check it after 24 hours. If the color of ghee is still yellow or has not curdled and the smell of ghee is also coming from it, then the ghee is pure.
recognize colors
– Heat two spoons of ghee in a vessel. When the ghee gets heated and melts, if its color starts turning light brown, then understand that your ghee is pure.
test in water
The purity of ghee can also be identified with cold water. Mix one spoon of ghee in a glass of water and leave it. See if ghee floats on the surface of water then it is pure ghee. If it is not pure, it will settle to the bottom of the glass.
salt and hydrochloric acid
Salt and hydrochloric acid can be used to identify ghee. For this, take one spoon of ghee in a bowl and add half spoon of salt and a little hydrochloric acid in it and then leave it for half an hour. After the time is up see what color it is.
If its color has changed then it is adulterated ghee and if its color has not changed then it is pure desi ghee. However, it is important to exercise caution when using hydrochloric acid. Therefore use it carefully.
