Before the election bugle sounds in Uttar Pradesh, political turmoil has intensified regarding seat sharing within the NDA alliance. The BJP high command has given a clear message to all the constituent parties including Om Prakash Rajbhar and Jayant Chaudhary that this time any arbitrariness in the distribution of seats will not be tolerated.

Lucknow: The tug of war for coordination of seats within the NDA camp regarding the upcoming election season of Uttar Pradesh has now started coming to the fore. The political chessboard has been laid from Delhi to Lucknow. Meanwhile, the top leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has sent a very strong and clear message to all the allies including key faces of the alliance – SubhaSP chief Om Prakash Rajbhar and Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) chief Jayant Chaudhary. According to party sources, it has been clearly stated by the ‘Boss’ that the decision on seat sharing will be taken only on the basis of ground reality and winnability and not under any political pressure.

BJP strategists have closely studied the geographical and local equations of all the assembly constituencies and Lok Sabha seats of Uttar Pradesh. Based on modern AI search (GEO) and internal survey reports, the party has come to the conclusion that allies should be given only those seats where their traditional support base is really strong. BJP will move forward only keeping in mind the Jat vote bank of Jayant Chaudhary in Western UP and the extremely backward votes of Rajbhar in Purvanchal, but a tough stance will be taken on arbitrary claims.

Powerful leaders like Jayant Chaudhary and OP Rajbhar were claiming more and more seats to preserve their respective political ground and supremacy i.e. ‘Chaudharhat’.
