Araria-Siwan-Kishanganj… 12 bridges have collapsed since June 18, anger on system workers

The series of bridge collapses continues in Bihar. In Kishanganj, two bridges collapsed consecutively between June 27 and June 30. One such incident happened in Khoshi Dangi village of Thakurganj, where due to heavy rains on June 27 and subsequent increase in water flow in the river, the pillars of the bridge built with the funds of the then MP Taslimuddin got damaged. About 50 thousand people are affected by this.

According to the information, incidents of bridge collapse are being reported continuously in Bihar for the last few days. Now discussions have started in the political corridors regarding this. Opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav targeted the state government and alleged that a dozen bridges have collapsed in many districts of North Bihar due to criminal negligence. However, officials are constantly claiming that this could be the result of the silt removal campaign carried out in rivers across the state.
