Chandigarh: The state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is making continuous efforts for the welfare of the Scheduled Castes of Punjab. Department of Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities has invited applications for the recruitment of the post of Chairman, Punjab State Scheduled Caste Commission till 15 October 2024.
Giving information in this regard, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minority Minister Dr. Baljeet Kaur said that the Punjab Government has to recruit the Chairman of the State Scheduled Caste Commission for the implementation of the welfare schemes of Scheduled Castes, so that the welfare schemes are implemented. So that the concerned people can get benefits.
The Cabinet Minister said that the applicant should not be below the rank of Principal Secretary and the age of the applicant should not be more than 65 years, he can apply for this post.
Dr. Baljeet Kaur said that candidates interested for this post can send their applications by 15 October 2024 to the Office of the Director, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Department, SCO No. 7, Phase-1, SAS Nagar Mohali.
He further said that the applicants who have applied in the advertisement dated 11.07.2024 will not need to apply again, the applications received earlier will also be considered. He said that incomplete and incomplete applications received after the due date will not be considered.
