Mirzapur, June 29 (HS). Union Minister of State and National President of Apna Dal (S) Anupriya Patel has written a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath demanding that reserved posts be filled only by candidates from those categories. She said that this should be made mandatory, no matter how many times appointments have to be made, but it should not be added to the general post.
The Union Minister of State said that in all the institutions under the state government, only interview based recruitment process is completed. If suitable candidates are not found for the reserved posts of backward class, scheduled caste or tribal category in competitive examinations, then they are made unreserved. This deprives the candidates of the reserved category of rights. There is a need to immediately stop this system and take effective action. The rules are being followed in the recruitment process of the central government. The reserved category is getting its rights. But the Uttar Pradesh government is ignoring it.
