Identified crimes, crimes related to women should be handled with sensitivity, cases involving ST/SC and pending challans, serving of warrants under POCSO Act, serving of permanent warrants, quick disposal of cases of CM Helpline, monitoring, identifying miscreants and taking preventive action against them. , To control the cases of NDPS Act and also to take action against the owners of the vehicles seized under NDPS Act, to re-implement the beat system in the police station and to lay emphasis on community policing and to increase the night patrolling points by activating the members of the City Defense Committee. The instructions were given by Shahdol Zone Inspector General of Police Anurag Sharma in the crime review meeting of all gazetted officers and police station in-charges of the district on 5th November in the meeting hall of Superintendent of Police Office, Anuppur.
The Inspector General of Police also reviewed the pending crimes of the district, crimes related to women, POCSO Act cases, pending cases, pending challans, police station wise. Besides, instructions were given to the police station in-charges to increase visits to their police station area and to go and talk among the public and organize awareness programs to make the public aware about digital arrest and online fraud. With the public cooperation of the business class, CCTV cameras were installed at prominent places in cities/towns and those businessmen whose establishments have CCTV cameras installed were encouraged to extend the coverage outside their shops. Instructions were given to make proper arrangements for CCTV and fire extinguishers in petrol pumps and schools. In such areas of the district which are affected by the problem of elephants, instructions were also given to establish coordination with the forest department officials and make proper preparations to avoid elephants.
Superintendent of Police Moti Ur Rehman directed gazetted officers and police station in-charges to resolve unsolved murder cases and rape cases, resolve 173(8) cases, and serve permanent and arrest warrants as much as possible.
