Anuppur: Pickup full of devotees went out of control and overturned, 13 injured, 2 seriously

Anuppur, 6 November (HS). The pickup vehicle of devotees returning home after darshan from Amarkantak went out of control and overturned in which 13 people were injured. There were 18 people in the vehicle. The incident has been reported from Kotwali police station area.

According to the information, on the night of Tuesday-Wednesday, 18 people were returning from Amarkantak in a pickup vehicle, when the pickup vehicle went out of control and overturned near village Kshirapatpar below Kirarghat, after which the villagers reached the spot after hearing the screams and took them to Anuppur District Hospital, where Treatment of 13 injured was started.

In which Dae's condition became serious and he was referred to a big hospital. According to the police, a woman and 22-year-old youth Aman have been admitted to Shahdol Medical Hospital in the accident. All the passengers in the vehicle are residents of Kothi Gram Panchayat of Kotma development block. Passengers said that the pickup driver was under the influence of alcohol. Mohammad Ozair, the duty doctor in the district hospital, said that 11 people are admitted in the hospital for treatment.
