Anuppur, 13 August (HS). The newly arrived collector of the district Harshal Pancholi took charge of his office at the Collector's Office Anuppur on Tuesday evening. Collector Harshal Pancholi, an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2015 batch, has worked on various posts in the state. After the transfer order for him to the post of Anuppur Collector was issued, he arrived on Tuesday where the district officials welcomed him. As soon as Collector Harshal Pancholi arrived, he first reached Eklavya School and inspected the helipad being built there. Along with this, he reached the Collector's Office after taking other information. It is known that on August 16, the Chief Minister of the state, Dr. Mohan Yadav is arriving in Anuppur, the administration is busy preparing for it.
Collector Harshal Pancholi has previously worked as SDM Petlawad, District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer in Tikamgarh and Anuppur, Assistant Secretary of NITI Aayog, Additional Collector Sidhi and Deputy Secretary Urban Administration, Additional Collector Bhopal.
Earlier on Monday, Collector Ashish Vashisht handed over the charge to District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Tanmay Vashisht Sharma and left for Bhopal. He has been given the responsibility of Managing Director Madhya Pradesh Raj Electronics Development Corporation Bhopal and Executive Director State Public Service Agency and Mission Director, Samagra Social Security Mission (additional charge). Ashish Vashisht held the post of Anuppur Collector from 30 January 2023 to 12 August 2024.

Keeping in view the program proposed by the Chief Minister of the state government Dr. Mohan Yadav in Anuppur district on August 16, the newly arrived collector Harshal Pancholi reached the Government Eklavya Residential Higher Secondary School Anuppur and inspected the program venue. In view of the rainy season, he received information from the officials about waterproof stage arrangements, seating arrangements, dome arrangements, electricity supply arrangements, sound and mike arrangements etc.
During this, the newly arrived collector directed to make arrangement of generator so that power supply is not disrupted and also directed to complete the assigned works before time. The collector asked to ensure space for setting up stalls by the department. He has asked to complete the arrangements including net connectivity, drinking water arrangement, parking arrangement before time. During the inspection, District Panchayat CEO Tanmay Vashisht Sharma, Joint Collector Dilip Kumar Pandey, District Program Officer of Women and Child Development Department Vinod Paraste, Assistant Director Gardens Subhash Srivastava, Chief Municipal Officer along with officials of the concerned departments were present.
