Due to which the cleanliness system of the city has derailed. Due to lack of cleaning for a day, garbage has started piling up in the streets. Due to lack of cleanliness, there are piles of garbage at public places including railway station, bus stand, Indira Tiraha.
On the other hand, the sanitation workers are saying that they will return to work only after the outstanding salaries are paid, due to which this problem may continue for many more days. Earlier, the sanitation workers had submitted a memorandum to the Chief Municipal Officer and warned that if the problems were not resolved within 3 days, all the employees would collectively stop work and go on strike.
It has been told that the sanitation workers working in the district headquarters have not been paid salaries for the last 2 months. Along with this, he is continuously demanding payment of salary from the Municipal Corporation, despite this he is not getting paid. Along with Navratri, the festival of Diwali is this month, but due to non-payment of salaries to the sanitation workers, there is no food ration left in their homes, due to which they have been forced to go on an indefinite strike. They should be included in the semi-skilled category, four sanitation workers who had not received payment for two months during the Corona period should be given the same, the employees should be given the benefit of medical facilities.
