Anuppur, 7 May (Hindus). Collector Ashish Vashishtha reached the remote Baiga dominated village Guttipara in the remote hilly area of Pushparajgarh district Panchayat Pushprajgarh on Tuesday. Where he was welcomed as per Baiga tribal tradition. During this, the Collector obtained information from the villagers regarding rural traditions and environment. On this occasion, Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat Tanmay Vashishtha Sharma, Assistant Collector Mahipal Singh Gurjar, Chief Medical and Health Officer, Non-Departmental Officer Forest Pushparajgarh, Executive Engineer Public Health Engineering Department and officials of the concerned department were present.
Collector Ashish Vashishtha informed that 30 beneficiaries have been benefited under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Man Yojana in village Guttipara and received information from the officials about the construction works under the scheme.
The Collector was told that village Guttipara is situated in an inaccessible hilly area, where due to lack of proper road, construction material is not able to reach the upper hilly area. Due to which the construction work being done under Pradhan Mantri Jan Man Yojana is not being done in time. On this, the Collector instructed the General Manager of the Prime Minister Rural Road Scheme and the Forest Department officials to make alternative routes with mutual coordination. During this, the Collector said that with the construction of an alternative route, the construction material will be able to reach the appropriate place and the construction work under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana will be done on time. Met the Baiga villagers of Baiga dominated village Guttipara and discussed about their food habits and way of life. During this, the Collector obtained information related to the health of high risk pregnant women from the Chief Medical and Health Officer and directed that hemoglobin test of the women of the village should be done and instructions were given to provide all the information related to their health.
The Collector received information from the officials regarding the government schemes being provided to the villagers of Baiga dominated village Guttipara, located in the inaccessible hilly area. In which it was told that about 150 people are living in village Guttipara and the Baiga women here are being given food subsidy and 6 daughters are also being given the benefit of Ladli Lakshmi Yojana. In the discussion regarding drinking water system, the villagers said that there is a problem of drinking water in the village. We should be provided with drinking water, on which the Collector instructed the Executive Engineer, Public Health Department, to find an alternative source of water and provide clean and safe drinking water to the villagers.
Tasted the taste of wild fruit char
The Collector obtained information regarding rural wild fruit char of village Guttipara. On which it was told that it is a wild fruit, we bring it from the rural forest and dry it, it is called char and it also produces chironji, which gets a good price in the market. During this time the collector tasted the wild fruit char and was very happy. He said that he has tasted such a fruit for the first time in his life.
