Anuppur: Checkposts should be installed on the border of the district to stop illegal transportation of paddy – Collector | News India

Anuppur, 3 October (Hindus). All the millers should do the milling of the paddy procured this year as per the milling policy and contract. There should not be any problem in paddy milling work, if any problem arises in milling work, inform the administration immediately. Collector Harshal Pancholi gave these instructions to the officials in the meeting of the Food Department and Millers on Thursday. In the meeting, District Supply Officer B.S. All the millers of the district including Parihar, District Manager Warehouse Preeti Sharma were present.

The Collector discussed pending payments, information related to paddy allocation, gunny bags and various other important topics and gave necessary guidelines. Millers were informed that the vehicles are stopped unnecessarily by the police after paddy lifting, due to which the millers have to face problems. On which the Collector gave necessary directions to the officials.

The Collector also obtained information from officials and millers regarding illegal transportation of paddy. The Collector directed the District Supply Officer to stop illegal transportation of paddy on the basis of seriousness by setting up check posts to prevent illegal transportation of paddy in the border of the district with the help of police. If found transporting paddy illegally, strict action should be taken against those concerned.
