Anuppur: 441 cases resolved in National Lok Adalat, award of more than Rs 1.60 crore passed

Anuppur, 11 May (HS). As per the instructions of National Legal Services Authority, New Delhi, National Lok Adalat was organized on Saturday in 14 division benches including District Headquarters Anuppur, Tehsil Kotma and Civil Court of Rajendragram. While 3979 pending referral cases were resolved in Lok Adalat, 441 cases and 136 cases out of 2973 pre-litigation cases were resolved through Lok Adalat. A total award amounting to Rs 1,60,06,812 was passed in Lok Adalat.

National Lok Adalat was inaugurated by Principal District Judge Ravinder Singh by lighting the lamp in the District Court. On this occasion, District Judge/Secretary District Legal Services Authority Monica Adhya, First District and Additional Sessions Judge Pankaj Jaiswal, Second District and Additional Sessions Judge Narendra Patel, Chief Judicial Magistrate Chainwati Taram, Judicial Magistrate Anjali Shah, Judicial Magistrate Ms. Parul Jain, Additional Superintendent of Police Israr Mansoori, Advocates Association President Santosh Singh Parihar, District Legal Aid Officer Dilawar Singh along with advocates and employees, officials of Legal Aid Defense Council, Municipality, Electricity, Bank, Paralegal Volunteers of District Legal Services Authority and parties were present.

14 division benches including Lok Adalat Court Anuppur and Tehsil Court Kotma and Rajendragram were formed, in which compoundable criminal cases, cases related to check dishonor, bank recovery cases, motor accident claims, matrimonial cases, labor disputes, land acquisition, civil Matters related to electricity and water bills were resolved through mutual agreement. 3979 cases pending in District Headquarters, Anuppur, Tehsil Civil Court Kotma and Tehsil Civil Court Rajendragram were referred to Lok Adalat, out of which a total of 441 cases were resolved. Out of 2973 cases presented for pre-litigation, 136 were resolved through Lok Adalat. In which a total amount of 1 crore 60 lakh 06 thousand 812 awards were passed. In Lok Adalat, there was mutual brotherhood and harmony by reaching mutual compromise on the basis of mutual reconciliation and harmony.
