Jerusalem: US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has arrived in the Qatari capital Doha to join Egyptian and Qatari mediators gathered to discuss a ceasefire in Gaza.

However, Hamas said in a statement published in this regard that the issues that were put before them earlier are completely opposite. Along with this, they blamed America and said that they still accept the nine conditions presented by Israel.

Although there has been no immediate response from the US, that is a different matter.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu told relatives of hostages still held in Gaza that 'despite extraordinary pressure at home and abroad (to end the war), we are continuing our efforts to maintain our security and free the hostages.'

The problem is that neither Hamas nor Egypt is willing to accept an Israeli military presence in the concrete 'buffer zone' on the Gaza-Egypt border, which Israel calls the 'Philadelphia Corridor'.

On the other hand, relatives of the kidnapped people in this war which started on 7th October 23rd are pressuring Netanyahu to bring back the peacekeepers. On the other hand, Western countries including America are also pressuring Israel for a ceasefire. Therefore, America has put forward some ceasefire proposals which have been accepted by Israel, but Hamas has not accepted them yet.
