Prayagraj, 24 February (HS). Allahabad High Court has approved the conditional anticipatory bail of Sameer Dixit, manager of Movie Makers INC Barsova Mumbai, which produced the film Tadka Love in Cooking, and has ordered his immediate release at the time of arrest.
Ranvijay Singh of Cantt Varanasi has filed an FIR against him on the charges of not giving benefits after investing Rs. 2.11 crores and dishonoring the check issued. The police have also filed the charge sheet.
This order has been given by Justice Krishna Pahal. The petitioner said that the film has been released. Payment is made by check from time to time. The complainant said that the petitioner took the money in the name of investment and embezzled it. The film was not made. Didn't give any benefit. Some of the checks given were dishonored. The petitioner said that a total of Rs 3 crore 22 lakh 70 thousand has been paid. On this the court said that the petitioner is entitled to anticipatory bail.
