Jaipur, 17 May (Hindus). Rajasthan High Court has sought reply from the state government on not filling the vacant posts of Assistant Radiographer Recruitment-2020 till now. The court has issued notice to the Chief Medical Secretary, Medical Director and Secretary of Rajasthan Staff Selection Board asking them to give their reply. The court has asked these officers why the entire posts of this recruitment, which was held four years ago, have not been appointed yet. A single bench of Justice Ganesh Ram Meena gave this order while conducting preliminary hearing on the petition of Rajesh Baria and others.
In the petition, advocate Laxmikant Sharma said that the selection board had issued recruitment advertisement for 1119 posts for Assistant Radiographer on 12 June 2020. In this, 1014 finally selected candidates were appointed. But even after this the remaining recruitment posts remained vacant. Despite this, the state government is not filling these vacant recruitment posts. The petition said that Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has recommended the Medical Department several times to fill these vacant posts. The petitioner candidates are in the waiting list for recruitment and if appointments are made to these posts then the petitioners will be selected. Therefore, the state government should be instructed to make appointments on all the vacant posts. While hearing the matter, the single bench has issued notice to the concerned officers and sought their reply.
