Jaipur, March 2 (HS). The Rajasthan High Court has issued a notice to the state government and sought its response for not regularizing the service of radiographers, pharmacists and helpers and others working on contract for more than ten years in the medical department and stopping the fixed salaries. The court has asked the Bundi CMHO, including the Principal Medical Secretary and Health Director, as to why the petitioners were not regularized and why their fixed salaries were stopped. The single bench of Justice Ganesh Ram Meena gave this order on the petition of Firdaus and Ramkanya and others.
In the petition, advocate Yogesh Taylor told the court that the petitioner has been working on contract basis since 2012 on the posts of sweeper, junior clerk, radiographer, pharmacist and helper in CHC Indergarh, Bundi. Despite this, he is not being regularized by the medical department even after ten years of service. Apart from this, the salary they were being given has also been stopped. Now preparations are being made to remove him from service. The petitioners made several representations to the department for regularization of service and payment of fixed salaries, but the department did not take any action. It was also said in the petition that he was being removed and other contract workers were being appointed. Whereas a contract worker cannot be removed and another contract worker cannot be appointed. In the petition, it was requested that their withheld salary should be given and they should be regularized in service. While hearing the matter, the single bench has issued notice to the concerned officers and sought their reply.
