This goods train has derailed near Tupkadih railway station. Due to the incident, rail transport on Bokaro Gomo railway route has been disrupted.

The Vande Bharat train going from Varanasi to Ranchi has also been stopped at Chandrapura railway station. Relief work is going on at the place where the accident took place and the causes of the accident are being investigated.

Railways started a new initiative

To curb the increasing train accidents in different parts of the country, the Railways has started a new initiative. Railways has formed Railway Guard for the first time. Indian Railways has started this initiative in the North Western Railway (NWR) area under a pilot project. Railway Guard is capable of reaching the accident site immediately and carrying out rescue operations.

The team has been given special training

The Railway Minister has given this responsibility to North Western Railway and the RPF and mechanical team have been given special training for 4 weeks. Our team Railway Protection Team will reach the accident site in a short time. This is a very historic initiative. Indian Railways has set up Railway Protection Team and equipment at Gandhinagar Railway Station.

At the same time, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that 'I want to clearly tell those who are trying to derail the railways that they should not try to politicise the railways. Strict action will be taken against them with the help of state police and NIA.'
