An incident of molestation of a woman has come to light in a government hospital in Kolkata. The ward boy of the hospital has been accused of molesting a 26-year-old woman.
The incident came to light when the woman who admitted the child to the hospital for treatment was sleeping near the child. The woman has said in the complaint that she was sleeping in the children's ward at the Institute of Child Health in Kolkata. My son was admitted here. The accused has been identified as 26-year-old ward boy Tanay Pal. Tanay Pal came to the children's ward and started touching the woman inappropriately. He also tried to undress the woman. The accused recorded this incident on his mobile. After receiving the complaint of the incident, Kolkata Police has arrested the accused. An FIR has been registered under relevant sections of BNS.
Dr. Ghosh and Mandal may have been in collusion: CBI
Dr Sandip Ghosh, former principal of Kolkata's R.G. Kar Medical College, hours after the 31-year-old doctor's body was found in Tala Po hospital premises. The CBI told a Kolkata court on Sunday that it had spoken to the station's in-charge officer Abhijit Mandal. The CBI said there could be collusion between Dr Ghosh and Mandal, which needs to be exposed.' The CBI arrested Mandal on Saturday night on charges of tampering with evidence, while Ghosh, who was arrested on charges of financial scam, has now been charged with tampering with evidence as well. The court sent both Ghosh and Mandal on two-day CBI remand.
