Another farmer lost his life amid the agitation, dues of Rs 8 lakh were due, the death toll increased to 5

Farmer protest updates: Farmer organizations have been protesting for the last few days regarding many demands including the MSP law, today on the 11th day of the movement, news of the death of another farmer is coming to light.

Five farmers have died so far

Another farmer has lost his life in the farmers movement. Along with this, after the announcement of farmers' 'Delhi Chalo' march on February 13, five farmers have died so far. The deceased farmer has been identified as Darshan Singh, about 62 years old. According to sources, the deceased farmer was a resident of Amargarh village of Bathinda, Punjab. Darshan Singh's family owns 8 acres of land and currently his family owes Rs 8 lakh. He had married his son just a few days ago.

Farmers union expressed grief

Farmers union has expressed grief over the demise of Darshan Singh. The organization has demanded compensation to the family of the deceased farmer. District General Secretary of the organization Resham Singh said that to stop the farmers from dying on the border, the government should accept their demands.
