New Delhi. It would not be wrong to say that UP has got the maximum number of expressways in the country. One more name is going to be added to this list soon. This state with the highest population in the country is going to get another expressway soon, which will reduce the distance of 90 km to 31 km. Currently, it takes 2 to 3 hours to cover this route. That route will be completed in just 15 minutes. Not only this, with the construction of this small expressway, two states will be directly connected to the airport of UP.
Actually, we are talking about the Faridabad-Jewar Expressway, whose construction started in June last year. The National Highway Authority says that this expressway will be completed by June 2025 i.e. in the next one year. It will be directly connected to Sector 65 of Faridabad from the airport being built in Jewar, UP. This will benefit the passengers going to the airport from Gurugram and other districts of Haryana. It will take only 15 minutes to cover this distance by car. Currently it takes more than 2 hours to go from Faridabad to Jewar.
What will be its path?
The Jewar-Faridabad Expressway is being built as a 6-lane expressway and it will start from Vallabhnagar, Ampur and Jhuppa villages of Gautam Buddha Nagar and will connect to Faridabad via Bahpur, Kalan, Mohana, Narhavali villages of Haryana. This expressway will also connect to Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Yamuna Expressway, Kundli Ghaziabad Palwal (KGP) i.e. Eastern Peripheral Expressway and Kundli, Manesar, Palwal (KMP) i.e. Western Peripheral Expressway.
how much will it cost
According to NHAI, about Rs 2,414 crore will be spent on the construction of this 31 km long expressway. Its construction will not only increase economic activities in NCR, but will also give impetus to industrial and commercial projects. Not only Faridabad, but Gurugram will also get direct connectivity to Jewar Airport through this route.
Property prices will increase by 40 percent
The Faridabad-Jewar Expressway is also very important because after its construction, the real estate prices in the villages and other areas falling along the expressway route will increase by 30 to 40 percent. Therefore, this expressway will not only provide connectivity but will also boost real estate and industry.
