Kolkata, July 20 (HS). On the occasion of Shravani Mela, Howrah Division of Eastern Railway will run another EMU special train between Howrah and Tarakeshwar every Monday from 22 July 2024 to 19 August 2024.
Eastern Railway spokesperson Kaushik Mitra gave this information on Saturday. He said that Shravani Mela is an important part of Bengal's cultural and religious calendar, in which devotees come to Tarakeswar for Jalabhishek of Lord Shiva. During this time, Tarakeswar and Sevdafuli stations are crowded with a large number of devotees. This step has been taken for the convenience of devotees during Shravani Mela.
The timing of this special train is :-
Tarakeswar to Howrah: Departure at 11:35 am, arrival at 1:05 pm.
Howrah to Tarakeswar: Departure at 1:20 pm, arrival at 2:50 pm.
