Baba Siddiqui murder case: A person has been arrested from Ludhiana in connection with the murder of former Maharashtra minister and NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) leader Baba Siddiqui. Punjab Police Chief Gaurav Yadav gave this information on Saturday (26 October). Punjab Police wrote on the social media platform 'X' that, 'Sujit Sushil Singh has been arrested in a joint operation of Punjab Police and Mumbai Police. He has been handed over to Mumbai Police.

On October 12, Baba Siddiqui was shot dead by three people in Bandra area of Mumbai. Police have recovered a pistol and three cartridges from the rented house of Ram Kanojia, one of the accused arrested in the murder of Baba Siddiqui. Ram Kanojia was living in a rented house in Palaspe area of Panvel city of Raigarh district for the last one year. According to police, the 43-year-old accused, who was arrested by Mumbai Police last week, had provided arms and other assistance to the attackers in the Baba Siddiqui murder case.
