Nawada, 7 August (HS). On Wednesday, the Rajauli police station of the district arrested another accused of attacking the CBI team, Ramotar Mahato, a resident of Kasiyadih village and sent him to jail.
It is noteworthy that recently, the CBI team had reached Rajauli Kasiyadih village of Nawada district in the UGC NET paper leak case, where the villagers attacked the CBI officials calling them fake. During this, the driver and other people were injured. After this incident, the CBI had lodged an FIR against 8 named and some unknown people in Rajauli police station. After this, the police has arrested five people including a young woman and sent them to jail.
Rajauli police station in-charge Rajesh Kumar said that the police is engaged in intensive investigation regarding the attack and assault on the CBI and police team. Other accused will be arrested soon.
