The annual convention of the Government Pensioners Welfare Organization was held in the auditorium of Bharat Sevashram Sangh located in Devpura under the chairmanship of branch president Vijay Kumar Gupta. Branch General Secretary Satishchandra Sharma discussed the progress, representations and achievements of the organization. He said that the reduction in pension increase amount at 65, 70 and 75 years should be stopped in 10 years and 8 months, all medical facilities including OPD should be provided to the pensioners on the lines of centres. On June 30 and December 31, one salary increment should be paid to retired employees along with arrears. Pensioners of Uttar Pradesh JP Chahar called for organizing themselves and fighting for the interests of the employees.
