Mirzapur, July 13 (HS). District Judge Anmol Pal inaugurated the National Lok Adalat on Saturday by garlanding the picture of Maa Saraswati and lighting a lamp in the civil court premises.
District Judge Shripal said that Lok Adalat is organized by the State Legal Commission to reduce the burden of cases in the courts. He informed that instant decisions are given in Lok Adalat in various cases like vehicle challan, cheque bounce, Motor Vehicle Act, some criminal cases and other cases. More than 30 thousand cases have been marked for settlement in Lok Adalat. It is expected that all the cases will be settled. 29 thousand 449 cases were settled in the last Lok Adalat.
