Mumbai: Ankita Lokhande has rejected the offer of 'Student of the Year Three'. It is said that he had rejected this offer on the grounds that after making the first two films of this franchise, for the third time it is not a film but a web series.
Ankita is counted among the top TV actresses but she has not got much success in films. Apart from Kangana Ranaut's 'Manikarnika', she has worked in projects like Randeep Hooda's 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar'.
Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan were launched in the first film of this franchise. Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey got a break from the second half. However, the film was not as successful as the first part.
Just some time ago, Karan Johar had surprised everyone by announcing that the third part of this franchise will not come as a film but as a web series. He told that director Reema Maya is producing this series.
