Prayagraj, 06 July (HS). To make the campuses lively and restore the campus culture, the nationwide campaign “Parisar Chalo Abhiyan” by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad was concluded on Saturday at the Rajarshi Mandapam Auditorium on Bank Road. ABVP National Minister Ankit Shukla said that the Campus Chalo Abhiyan is being run as a mass movement.

He informed that it is planned to run it throughout the year in two phases among students studying in university campuses. In the second phase, efforts will be made to work in this direction by communicating with all the stakeholders of the education sector to make the campus lively, to make it a centre of employment generation and to provide facilities like canteen, sports ground and student welfare centre to make the campus interesting.

Keynote speaker Prof. Girish Chandra Tripathi said that after the Corona period, there has been a decline in the attendance rate of students in educational campuses. Due to which students are forgetting the campus culture and this is proving to be an obstacle in their all-round development. Teachers will have to create a positive environment in which students come to the campuses, only then will the students start going to the campuses. Campuses are the biggest centers of social harmony and reviving them is the need of the hour.

ABVP IV University unit president Alok Tripathi said that under the “Parisar Chalo Yatra” organized by Kashi Prant, a chariot was run from Duddhi in Sonbhadra and Amethi. The chariot run from Duddhi has reached Kashi Hindu University today via Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Bhadohi, Varanasi district, Ghazipur, Chandauli and Varanasi metropolis. The yatra started from Amethi and reached Allahabad University today via Kushbhawanpur, Machhlishahr, Jaunpur, Pratapgarh, Kaushambi, Prayag district and Prayag metropolis.

ABVP Kashi Province Minister Abhay Pratap Singh said that through this campaign of ABVP, an attempt has been made to create a positive environment among the students. ABVP Kashi Province's Province Vice President Dr. Vikas Kumar said that very good experiences have been gained through the 'Parisar Chalo Yatra' run by Kashi Province. This journey passed through 16 organizational districts of Kashi Province and concluded at Kashi Hindu University and Allahabad University.
