The protesting animal friends and the officials of the organization associated with them said that the way the government has made arrangements for regular honorarium to their counterparts Shiksha Mitra and Panchayat Mitra. Similarly, animal friends and Maitri should be given regular honorarium.
The protesting animal friends said about their demands that our number in the entire state is 58 hundred. We should be appointed according to the number of animals in each cowshed. So that artificial insemination and vaccination can be done in a stable manner in the cowshed. There are 65 hundred cow shelters at the state level. Where caretakers are hired and they are also given regular honorarium. Their demand is that they should be promoted from animal friends to caretakers. So that they can also come under the category of regular honorarium.
During this time, animal friends tried to meet the director of Animal Husbandry Directorate and submit a demand letter. Then all the animal friends were stopped outside the director's office. Later only four people were invited by the director for talks. Animal friends submitted their demand letter to the Director of Animal Husbandry.
