Despite the doubts and anger of the people towards smart meters, lakhs of prepaid smart meters are being installed by removing the old meters, but it is surprising that the Energy Minister himself has not installed a prepaid smart meter in his house.
Neither a smart meter is installed at his residence in Supaul nor a smart prepaid meter is installed at his residence in Patna. Allegations of scam in prepaid smart meters are often made. But the minister not getting a smart meter installed in his own house increases the doubts even more. Youth leader Prashant Kamal insisted and asked that if there is no problem in the smart meter then why is the minister not getting it installed in his house. The minister should give a satisfactory answer to this.
