Outsourced sanitation workers, angry over not being paid the PF deducted from their salary every month for years, demonstrated at the Nagar Panchayat Haidergarh office and reached the tehsil headquarters and handed over a memorandum to the sub-district magistrate demanding action. During the Samadhan Diwas organized on Saturday, the angry employees, accompanied by members of different wards of the Nagar Panchayat, submitted a memorandum to the sub-district magistrate. Leveling serious allegations of corruption against the Executive Officer, they said that about 60 sanitation workers have been appointed on outsourcing for the cleanliness of the Nagar Panchayat. Out of them, 30 sanitation workers work. The rest of the sanitation workers do not work.
Despite this, in connivance with the Executive Officer, the salary of about 30 Safai Karamcharis is withdrawn every month without doing any work. No photo of the employee is uploaded on Google Maps. It is alleged that contract Safai Karamchari Manoj Yadav is spreading corruption in a fraudulent manner by sitting next to the Executive Officer. SDM Mohd Shams Tabrez Khan has taken the matter seriously and has assured to get it investigated and take action. On this occasion, Councilor Mahesh Agarwal Surat Dixit, Vipin Soni, Councilor representative Hariram Rawat, Shiv Verma along with more than two dozen male and female Safai Karamcharis of the city were present.
