Deoria, 05 August (HS). On Monday, in Surauli police station area, a woman committed suicide by hanging herself after being upset with something. Police reached the spot after getting the information and sent the body for postmortem and started investigating the case.
Shalini Devi (30), wife of Veer Bahadur Kushwaha, a resident of Bheda Pakar Khurd of Surauli police station area, committed suicide by hanging herself in her room after getting upset over something. When the family members saw the body hanging, they started screaming. Police reached the spot after getting the information, took the body in their custody and questioned the family members.
Uncle Ramgya Kushwaha said that ten years have passed since the marriage. She took this step because she was upset with something. People from her maternal side also came. The police have sent the body for postmortem and have started investigating the case.
