honor killing case : A shocking case of honor killing has come to light from Yamunanagar, Haryana. Here the brothers, angry over their sister's love marriage, killed their brother-in-law with a sword. After receiving information about this incident, the police have arrested four accused in this case. Police have identified the deceased as Abhishek. Initial police investigation has revealed that Abhishek and Rishu were married a year ago.
What is the whole incident?
According to reports, Abhishek had come to Yamunanagar to attend the wedding ceremony. His wife Rishu's brothers came to know about this. Rishu's brother along with some of his friends came to meet Abhishek and attacked him with a sword. Abhishek and some of his friends were seriously injured in the attack. After which Abhishek died. Abhishek was living in Zirakpur for the last one year. At present the matter is being investigated. Abhishek's body has also been sent for postmortem. Police have arrested four accused.
After the incident, Yamunanagar City SHO Jagdish Chandra said, “Our investigation has revealed that Rishu's brother was against her marriage.” At present the police is investigating the matter. Many people are yet to be interrogated during this investigation. If anyone else's involvement comes to light in this matter, action will be taken against him also.
