Surendranagar: BJP candidate from Rajkot Lok Sabha seat Parshottam Rupala's statement on princely states was strongly opposed. Later Rupala apologized. Parshottam Rupala said, it was not my intention to look down on the Kshatriya community, I sincerely apologize to the Kshatriya community. I apologize if anyone's sentiments have been hurt. After the controversy, Parshottam Rupala apologized to the Kshatriya community.
A video of Parshottam Rupala was going viral on social media. In which he was saying that the Maharaja bowed down before the British and started trading for his bread and butter. The rude society has not bowed down, it has been relying on Ram for thousands of years.

BJP has given ticket to Shobhanaben Bareya from Sabarkantha seat.

– In the fifth phase, voting will be held on 49 seats in 8 states on May 20.
– In the sixth phase, voting will be held on 57 seats in 7 states on May 25.
– In the seventh phase, voting will be held on 57 seats in 8 states on June 1.
– The result will be declared on June 4.
