There is deep anger among the employees over the incident in which independent candidate Naresh Meena slapped SDM Amit Chaudhary, posted on election duty, during the by-election on Deoli-Uniara assembly seat of Tonk district. In Alwar too, today the employees showed their anger and submitted a memorandum to District Collector Dr. Artika Shulla in the name of the Chief Secretary, demanding strict action against the accused.
The officials submitted the memorandum under the banner of Rajasthan Revenue Service Council, Rajasthan Patwar Association, Rajasthan Subordinate Computer Employees Association, Panchayati Raj Ministerial Employees Organization, Rajasthan Revenue Ministerial Employees Association. It was told in the memorandum that during the voting of Devli-Uniara assembly by-election on November 13, Amit Chaudhary was working on election duty as Sub Divisional Officer, Malpura Area Magistrate. During election duty in Samravata village of the assembly constituency, independent candidate Naresh Meena forcefully entered the polling booth and violated election rules. When candidate Meena was stopped from doing the above act by the Area Magistrate present on the spot, then Area Magistrate Choudhary was slapped and beaten by candidate Meena and the election process was disrupted, polluting the election process. At that time, no action was taken by the police personnel appointed on the spot to stop Meena from committing the said act, they maintained complete inaction. The case is a cognizable offence. Despite this, Meena and her supporters are making unrestrained statements on various forums, which comes under the category of treason.
Therefore, strict action should be taken immediately as per rules against the accused of such a highly condemnable incident.
