Amaravati: Controversy over adulteration of cow fat and fish oil in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam under Jagan Mohan Reddy's government. Chandrababu Naidu government has formed SIT to investigate the adulteration of ghee. On the other hand, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has started an 11-day fast at Tirupati temple from Saturday to atone for the sins of YSR Congress.

Former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has denied the allegations against him in the controversy of adulteration of Laduna Prasad of Tirupati temple with animal fat and has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi calling the current Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu a liar from head to toe. Jagan Mohan has accused Chandrababu of hurting the faith of crores of people.

On the other hand, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu formed an SIT to investigate the adulteration of ghee. He alleged that in the previous government, 'gambling' was being done in the appointments of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Board and people were being appointed who did not believe in Hinduism.

Naidu said, an officer of IG level or above will head the SIT. This SIT will investigate all the cases of misuse of power. The YSR government had changed the conditions of supply of ghee to TTD. Apart from this, the turnover requirement of the ghee supplier was reduced to Rs. 250 crore from Rs. 150 crore earlier. The condition of three years of experience was also changed.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has started an 11-day fast at Tirupati temple to atone for the sins of YSR Congress. He said that he is extremely saddened by the incident of adulteration of animal fat in Tirupati temple's Prasad Laddu. I will do penance for 11 days to please Lord Venkatesh. He said that if such an incident had happened with a mosque, there would have been chaos in the whole country.
