An Indian student has been missing for a week in Chicago, America, a similar incident happened two months ago

Indian student missing in Chicago: Studying in America has been a dream for Indian students, but of late this dream is turning into a nightmare. Incidents of disappearance or murder of Indian students are continuously coming to light in America. In which once again an Indian student has gone missing from Chicago, America. The student has been identified as Rupesh Chandra Chintkindi, who has been missing since May 2.

The Consulate General of India issued a statement

The Consulate General of India in Chicago has said that it is in touch with the police and Indians living in the US. In a post shared on social media, the Consulate General wrote that 'The Consulate General is extremely concerned to hear the news of the disappearance of Indian student Rupesh Chandra. The Embassy is in constant touch with the Indian community and the police and it is hoped that Rupesh will be traced soon.

Earlier in March, the body of an Indian student was found after he went missing.

Chicago Police has appealed to the public to contact the police if they have any information about Rupesh. Rupesh, of the 4300 block of N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, has been missing since May 2. Earlier in March also, an Indian student had gone missing, whose body was found in April. The body of Mohammed Abdul Arafat, a resident of Hyderabad, was found in Cleveland, Ohio. Arafat went to America to pursue a master's degree in IT from Cleveland University.

Attacks on Indian students are increasing in America

These days the deaths of Indian students have increased in America. In April, an Indian student, Uma Satya Sai Gadde, also died, which is under investigation. Earlier in February, an Indian student was attacked.

This year, 11 Indian students have died in America due to various reasons. In such a situation, questions are being raised regarding the safety of Indian students in America.
