Online Game Addiction: In Ghaziabad, an eighth class student committed suicide by hanging himself after his mother scolded him for playing online games on mobile. The deceased student was the only child of his parents. At the time of the incident, the parents had gone to work. When the mother returned home, she came to know about the incident. At present, the police is investigating the matter.

Ram Prasad Yadav, a resident of Belar village in Mainpuri, lives with his wife and 15-year-old only son Yash Yadav in a house in Laxmi Vihar Railway Colony in Lal Kuwa area. Ram Prasad Yadav works in a shop and his wife works in someone else's house.

According to the police, Yash was addicted to playing games on mobile phone. On Friday, his mother scolded him for this and advised him to concentrate on studies. After this, Ram Prasad Yadav and his wife went to their respective work while Yash was alone at home. When the mother returned from work at around 11:30 in the morning, she was shocked to see the body of her only son Yash hanging from the noose. The son was brought down and taken to the nearest hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead.

The ACP said that the body of Yash (15), son of Ram Prasad, was found hanging from the roof of the house in Laxmi Vihar Railway Colony near Lal Kuwa in Wave City area. Yash was a student of class 8 in Jyoti Public School located in Lal Kuwa. Frustrated by his mother's scolding, he committed suicide by hanging himself with a dupatta. He said that the family members refused legal proceedings and post-mortem and took the body for cremation. According to the report, the ACP said that the mother of the deceased student told the police that Yash had lost two lakh rupees in an online game.
